SIPJF

The Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair® is the largest IP job fair in the region. Organized by Career Services Office and the College of Law's Intellectual Property Advisory Board, it is made possible by student volunteers, alumni and staff.

The job fair encompasses all areas of intellectual property from litigation, transactional work, prosecution, and spans across all industries and types of organizations.

Who attends?

  • Employers: Corporations, law firm and government agencies practicing intellectual property law in technology, science, business, media, arts, entertainment and sports.
  • Students and Recent Graduates: SIPJF is one of only a few job fairs tailored to your area of interest. Serious about a career in Intellectual Property? SIPJF is your best opportunity to meet potential employers.
  • Sponsors: Exclusive sponsor opportunities are available to showcase your company, product or service at the Employer-Student Luncheon and Cocktail Reception. Contact us to become a sponsor today.
  • Speakers: Enriching the students' job fair experience is integral to SIPJF. We are always looking for speakers to discuss and present on hot topics in IP, successful career planning, passing the patent bar and more.

PA Tech Program

A component of SIPJF, the PaTech Program connects students with a patent license or an interest in technical advising with potential intellectual property employers. PaTech employers seek science, engineering or technology students who are interested in new innovations and ideas, have exceptional creative and analytical skills and/or are familiar with intellectual property.

PATech candidates do not need to have a J.D. or be enrolled in law school.
