Career Services is committed to helping students and graduates determine and fulfill their career goals, whether their aspirations lead them to private practice, public interest, government service, corporate law, academia or judicial clerkships. To that end, we provide a multitude of resources to assist students and alumni in securing employment.
Employer Recruitment Programs
The CSO sponsors a Fall Recruiting Program that includes On-Campus Interviewing (OCI), Resume Forwarding (RF) and Direct Contact initiatives. Our Early Interview Week On-Campus Interviewing normally occurs in August, followed by the Fall Traditional Recruiting Program in September and October.
Fall-hiring Employers may include:
- Large firms with 50 or more attorneys
- Medium firms with 26 to 50 attorneys
- Small firms on a limited basis
- Large government agencies
- Fellowships & Honors programs
In addition, the CSO sponsors a Spring Recruiting Program in February and March that also includes On-Campus Interviewing, Resume Forwarding and Direct Contact initiatives.
Spring-hiring Employers:
- Medium firms with 26 to 50 attorneys
- Small firms with up to 25 attorneys
- Business and industry
- Federal, state, and local government
- Public interests organizations
- Judiciary
- Fellowship & Honors programs
