The 56th Distinguished Henry J. Miller Lecture @ Student Center West

The 56th Distinguished Henry J. Miller Lecture will be held in the Student Center West, Ballroom, First  Floor. The distinguished speaker is Mark A. Lemley, William H. Neukom Professor, Stanford Law School. He is the  director  of the  Stanford Program in Law, Science and Technology; and senior fellow  of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.  Lemley is a partner  atDurie Tangri LLP and co-founder  of  Lex Machina Inc. His  topic will be  IP in a World Without Scarcity.

Katrina’s Legacy conference will examine critical issues in the areas of community and economic development and educational reform.

An arbitration conference will be  held in Atlanta on Thursday-Friday, Oct. 22-23. In anticipation, Shelby Grubbs, executive director of the Atlanta Center for International Arbitration and Mediation, and the Student Arbitration team will hold on a mock arbitration. The community and  students from Emory University, Mercer University, University of Georgia  and Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School are welcomed to join. Admission will be free.  A reception will follow.

This event will in the  Conference Center or the Ceremonial Courtroom.
