The Business & Law Society Welcomes You! Have
you ever considered the vast amounts of business alliances, research
prospects, and career opportunities that exist at the nexus between
business and the law? The potential benefits of being familiar
with both schools of thought extend far beyond the theoretical
realm; in fact, business and law work together to shape the business
marketplace and legal practice on a daily basis. Indeed, in
matters of real estate, taxation, and securities, it is often
difficult to distinguish the two.
Finally, there is an organization at Georgia State University that
emphasizes the sheer power of having such a hybrid knowledge of
today's world. The Business & Law Society welcomes JD/MBA
students; traditional law and business students from the College of
Law and Robinson College of Business, respectively; and indeed
anyone that can appreciate the lifetime of rewards that flow from an
appreciation of the overlap between business and law.
We invite you to join us in exploring
these benefits as we host guest speakers, joint degree clinics,
community service, and networking events throughout the year.
Welcome to Your B&LS!
