First Assignment

Updated: August 8, 2013, 1:02 pm

For class on: Tue Aug 20 2013

Assignment: For the first class, please read the designated excerpts from Clarence Darrow, The Story of My Life, which have been posted on the TWEN course page under the "course materials" tab. When reading this assignment, please try to identify as many philosophical issues pertaining to criminal law as you can, and assess what Darrow's position is on those issues. This will form the basis for our discussion, which will in turn provide us with an introduction to the course. The course syllabus is posted on TWEN
