Course Description

Litigation. Prerequisite: Law 6010. Law 6020 must be taken concurrently. This course provides students with an introduction to the lawyer skills required in representing a client from the initial interview, through discovery and pre-trial motions, to a jury trial. The course is taught by practicing trial lawyers and focuses on skills training. The course combines written assignments and in class performances. The course is graded pass/fail but at least two students in each section will earn a grade of "A" (a 90 or the student's previous semester cumulative average, whichever is higher).
