Course Description

Constitutional Law II: Individual Liberties. Prerequisite: Law 6000. An examination of substantive due process, procedural due process, equal protection, state action and selected aspects of the Bill of Rights.

The assignment for our first class is Assignment 1 on the course syllabus (see below).  The only other thing I'd like you to think about in advance of our first class is what you are hoping to get out of the course.

Assignment 1          An Introduction to Constitutional Decisionmaking

  1. Read FEF 16-25 (Dred Scott v. Sanford)
  2. Brown v. Board of Education: A Case Study, FEF 64-74
