Seminar in Health Law. Prerequisite: Law 7239. An in-depth study of current legal issues confronting the health care profession and involving delivery of health care in our society. Students will explore a variety of topics through assigned readings, class discussion, and individual written papers, which may be used to satisfy the writing requirement.

Note: This is an interdisciplinary course on medical ethics and law with third year medical students from Emory's medical school. While the seminar will normally meet from 10:30-12 noon on Wednesday mornings, law students should allow flexibility in their schedules to be able to attend other joint classes with the medical students that will go from 10:30-1:00 pm (5 classes) and from 3:00-4:30 pm (3 classes) at Grady Hospital.
