Georgia State University College of Law actively recruits applicants who possess the maturity, mentality and motivation necessary for the successful completion of the Juris Doctor program. Applicants must comply fully with the guidelines of the application process as outlined in our admissions policies and procedures in order to be considered for admission. Students who have been excluded from another law school at which they are ineligible for readmission will not be admitted to the College of Law. Beginning students are accepted for admission only in the fall semester. The College of Law has a rolling admission policy. Our faculty Admissions Committee will begin to review files in January and continue to review until the class is full. Applicants are encouraged to apply early and to ensure that all supporting materials are received. A late admission file may jeopardize your chances of receiving full consideration. All applicants must register for the Law School Data Assembly Service – LSDAS. The academic criteria include all of the undergraduate work that a candidate has attempted. A candidate must have obtained a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university. An applicant must submit current scores for the Law School Admission Test – LSAT.
