The Ben F. Johnson Jr. Public Service Award is named for the College of Law's founding Dean, Ben F. Johnson. The award is presented annually to a Georgia attorney whose career accomplishments reflect the high tradition of selfless public service that Dean Johnson exemplified throughout his life and work. Recent honorees have included Randall Hughes, Emmet Bondurant, Linda DiSantis, Steven Gottlieb, John T. Marshall and Horace Sibley. |

The Henry J. Miller Distinguished Lecture Series is supported by the Charles Loridans Foundation. The series is named for Henry J. Miller, a partner in the law firm of Alston & Bird for more than 50 years. In spring and fall, the College of Law welcomes a guest to speak to students, faculty and staff about controversial or emerging topics in the law community. |
