The College of Law received gifts from graduates, friends, faculty and staff and organizations totalling $549,920 for fiscal year 2003, a 20% increase over last year.
Law school graduates themselves increased their giving by 15% to a total of $162,441. This includes a record percentage participation rate of 17%, up 4% from last year! Two law firms, Fisher & Phillips and Hunton & Williams earned 100% participation in the annual fund, with each Georgia State law graduate at those firms contributing to support the College of Law. We especially thank our volunteers, C.R. Wright at Fisher & Phillips and Misty Speake and Jo Lynn Gavin at Hunton & Williams for their leadership and terrific work!!! Several classes met or exceeded the goal of 20% participation. 1984 - 29% Congratulations and thank you to everyone who supported the law school during this past fiscal year! |
