"Law School and the Legal System" gives an overview of the legal system, including a discussion of the techniques for reading, briefing cases, outlining, and taking exams.
REQUIRED READING ASSIGNMENT: Before class, read and brief Broadwell by Broadwell v. Holmes.
SUGGESTED READING: Before class, students are strongly encouraged to read Law School Without Fear: Strategies for Success, 3rd edition, by Helene & Marshall Shapo, published by Foundation Press. Copies are available in the GSU Bookstore and through online bookstores such as Amazon.com.
