Research, Writing & Advocacy - Law 5070

Welcome to Research, Writing, and Advocacy ("RWA") for the 2011-2012 Academic Year.  The RWA program at Georgia State University College of Law is a rigorous program that prepares students for the demands of today's legal profession.  Over the course of two semesters, students draft several practice-related documents communicating their legal analysis on a variety of legal issues.  The first semester focuses primarily on objective writing, while the second semester focuses primarily on persuasive writing and oral advocacy.

Below are the fall semester course materials and the reading assignment for the first RWA class, which is held during Orientation.  If you have any questions, you may contact the RWA Director, Heather Slovensky at hslovensky@gsu.edu.
