Three Contenders (So Far) for Cobb Superior Court

Three candidates have announced campaigns for the open Cobb Superior Court seat created by the retirement of Judge Jim Bodiford when his term expires at the end of the year. Bodiford announced plans to retire Jan. 21, saying he wanted his successor to win the job in an open election just as he did 20 years ago. The first announcement came the next morning from Cobb County Juvenile Court Judge Juanita Stedman. Within days she had two contenders: Cobb County Senior Assistant District Attorney Ann Harris and Marietta family lawyer Nathan Wade.
