Law Librarians Win Photo Contest

The Georgia State Law Library was among the winners in the 2008 Day in the Life of the Law Library Community Photo Contest conducted by the American Association of Law Libraries. Law Libraries all over the country sent in photos of their activities to compete for the title of “Best Picture” in several categories. The Georgia State Law Library’s photo titled “Reshelve Your Books at Your Own Risk” placed 1st in the Most Humorous category and 3rd in the Overall Best Photo category.

The winning photo features Professor Nancy Johnson’s cat, Katmandu, browsing the shelves in the law library.

You can view all of the winning photos.

Congratulations to Terrance Manion who took the winning photo, to Nancy Johnson for allowing her cat to participate, and to Katmandu for being such a good sport.
